Meet The Team

Meet The Owners
Nathan graduated from The University of Notre Dame in Perth in 2009 with a
Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has worked in private practice ever since. Over the years, he has built a wealth of experience in multi-disciplinary clinics, collaborating with GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals. He has also worked closely with community sports teams across soccer, rugby, AFL, touch rugby, and basketball. In 2022, driven by his passion to lead and mentor, Nathan opened Physio X Baldivis with the vision of creating a space where care feels personal and recovery is measurable.
Clinically, Nathan has a broad range of expertise, with particular focus on chronic neck and lower back pain, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, and sports injury management. His experience also spans respiratory conditions, dizziness, jaw pain, and falls prevention. Nathan’s approach combines hands-on treatment with practical guidance, helping clients move with confidence and achieve lasting results.
Outside the clinic, Nathan is a devoted husband and father to five children. He is
actively involved in the basketball community as a junior coach and a sideline
supporter of his kids’ teams. When he’s not on the court, he enjoys watching
basketball, AFL, and rugby union, and spending quality time with his family.
Michelle is the co-owner and director of Physio X Baldivis, where she plays a central role in keeping the clinic running smoothly and supporting the entire team. After several years dedicated to raising her five children, Michelle returned to the workforce in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of life experience and a passion for building a supportive, people-first environment. Her leadership ensures that both clients and staff feel genuinely cared for from the moment they step through the door.
With a background in retail management, Michelle brings valuable organisational and customer service expertise to the clinic. She has a natural ability to create a space that feels both professional and welcoming, balancing operational efficiency with a focus on personal connection. Her skill in managing the demands of a busy clinic while fostering a positive culture reflects her dedication to the wellbeing of both clients and staff.
Outside of the clinic, Michelle is a devoted wife and mother who loves spending time with her family. She enjoys days at the beach, cheering on her favourite sports teams, and has a well-known love of chocolate. Her commitment to balance, family, and fun adds a personal touch that resonates with the Physio X Baldivis community.
Meet The Physiotherapists
Marcus graduated from Curtin University and brings a fresh perspective to the Physio X Baldivis team. His journey into physiotherapy started at just 13 years old, when treatment for a sprained ankle sparked a lasting passion for helping others recover and return to the activities they love. With a strong interest in sports physiotherapy, Marcus is driven to support athletes across WA and is committed to building his career in private practice.
Clinically, Marcus believes in the power of exercise and active lifestyles as the foundation for recovery. He combines his knowledge of strength training with manual therapy techniques to deliver effective, results-driven care. His ability to speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin allows him to connect with a diverse range of clients, making his care more inclusive and accessible.
Outside the clinic, Marcus enjoys staying active through regular basketball games and gym sessions. He has a love for travel, with Japan being a favourite destination where he immerses himself in culture and tradition. When closer to home, you’ll often find him experimenting in the kitchen, creating meals that reflect his adventurous spirit.
Zen is a physiotherapist who recently graduated from Curtin University and is excited to be joining the Physio X team. He enjoys helping people move better and get back to doing what they love by taking the time to understand each patient’s goals and tailoring treatment to suit their needs.
With a strong sporting background, including playing volleyball at a state level and participating in a wide range of sports over the years, Zen has a particular interest in sports physiotherapy, injury prevention, and performance-based rehabilitation. He is also a qualified personal trainer, which allows him to integrate structured exercise, strength training, and movement-based rehab into his treatment sessions.
Clinically, Zen believes that staying active and using exercise as part of rehabilitation is key to building long-term strength, confidence, and resilience. He enjoys working with patients to help them feel empowered in their recovery and supported throughout the process.
Outside of the clinic, Zen enjoys staying active, spending time on the golf course, and continuing to develop his skills as a physiotherapist.
Tris joined Physio X Baldivis after graduating from Curtin University with a degree in Physiotherapy. Her passion for the profession began through her time as a member of the Hong Kong Women’s Junior Handball Team, where she first experienced the impact of physiotherapy in managing injuries and supporting recovery. This experience inspired her to pursue a career focused on helping others move better and live without pain.
Clinically, Tris has a strong interest in musculoskeletal pain and sports-related injuries. She combines manual therapy techniques for immediate relief with evidence-based exercise programs designed to target the root cause of issues for long-term results. Always eager to grow her expertise, Tris is developing advanced skills in dry needling, clinical Pilates, and vestibular disorders. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she is passionate about making physiotherapy accessible and inclusive for people from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of the clinic, Tris enjoys an active lifestyle filled with badminton, tennis, and volleyball. She also loves cooking and baking, believing that good food brings joy to life. When it comes to downtime, she dreams of travelling to Japan or exploring the great outdoors on camping trips across Western Australia.
Polly joined the Physio X Baldivis team in 2024 after graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Originally from Malaysia, she moved to Australia in 2019 to pursue her studies and quickly embraced life in Perth. Her journey into physiotherapy was inspired by a love of human movement and a desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s health and wellbeing.
Clinically, Polly has a strong interest in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, with experience in treating sports injuries, chronic pain, and postural issues. She works closely with her clients to uncover the root cause of their pain and develop targeted, evidence-based treatment plans that support long-term recovery. Alongside her MSK expertise, Polly has a growing passion for neurological rehabilitation and gerontology, where she helps people maintain independence, balance, and quality of life.
Away from the clinic, Polly leads an active and community-focused lifestyle. She enjoys playing badminton, exploring new restaurants, and singing as part of her church choir. Her involvement in music and community service reflects her caring and well-rounded nature, while her warmth and empathy make her a valued member of the Physio X Baldivis team.
